has been on this music lover's radar for several years now, but I had no idea of the road
he has traveled. He's been here in Nashville since 1997, although his music career extends
much further back in time (see link for earlier information). In 2005 he turned a corner
of sorts, as co-writer of the cut that revived John Conlee's career, "They
Also Serve" - which got significant airplay and wide distribution in its
tribute to the families of our troops in Iraq. He has also now started his own publishing
company, Hansa Worldwide Music Group, with its subsidiaries, Lightning Records, eight
spirits music, Maserati Productions and Super Vision. He is also producing a new act,
14-year-old Dee Dee Dillion, whose first single "Perfect" (a
Seibert co-write with the legendary Jimmy Payne and David Scheibner) is already getting
some notice, in advance of the May release of her first CD. |
Donna
is best known for her blend of rock, country and folk, and was even a Kerrville Folk
Festival finalist in 2004, but she has also stretched out to stage performance, portraying
Janis Joplin in "Kosmic Blue," which has since branched out all
over the area. She's also working in a production of "Beehive" this coming year.
Her Christmas single "Do You Hear What I Hear" was included on
the 2001 December Country Hotdisc, released to radio stations all through Europe,
and voted the #2 Christmas song on the European independent charts. Since then it's
become a staple on overseas playlists every Christmas. Her last CD, "Feels
Like Home," got strong reviews, and another is in progress. Her tour
schedule extends across the U.S., as well as to Canada, Barbados, St. Lucia and other
Caribbean islands. She's performed with Skeeter Davis, Pat DiNizio (Smithereens), B.J.

Jason
writes and sings traditional country with a contemporary
sensibility. In 2003, he released "The Reunion" a tribute song
he
co-wrote in honor of Johnny & June Carter Cash after Johnny's passing, which got
international airplay and was featured in Tommy Cashs 2004 tribute show, My
Brother John. He's also in high demand around Nashville as a demo-singer, for his
rich tones and quick-study approach to presenting other people's tunes in their best
light, working with such writers as Steve Seskin, Michael Johnson, Randy Bachman, and Tim
Bays. He has also performed with a number of acts, as guitarist and backup singer, opening
for the likes of John Michael Montgomery, Montgomery Gentry, Chely Wright, The Marshall
Tucker Band and Diamond Rio. Meanwhile, much to the delight of friends and fans alike,
Jason is finally recording his debut album, on Realtwang Records, due out
in the near future. |
